Accommodation
We encourage you not to delay booking your accommodation, as November is a very popular time of year for visitors to Sydney.
A limited number of rooms have been reserved on behalf of ASM delegates at PARKROYAL Darling Harbour, Sydney from Tuesday 26 – Friday 29 November. Accommodation is subject to availability and will be allocated when a booking is received. To secure the conference accommodation rates, bookings should be made online as part of the registration process. The booking deadline is Monday 21 October 2024.
Please notify your requests for changes or cancellation by email directly to the meeting organiser. The hotel has its own cancellation policy from 30 days prior to arrival depending on the date of cancellation. Please ensure you understand the policy for the hotel you are booking.
Please indicate your estimated time of arrival during the booking process. If you wish to guarantee your room is ready before the hotel check-in time it is recommended that you book and pay for the room for the evening prior to your arrival.
If you wish to extend your stay prior to or following the ASM, please specify your requirements in the additional nights required field during the booking process. Availability and rates will be checked with the hotel before your reservation is fully confirmed.
Please note that payment of accommodation is not taken at time of registration, however a credit card is required at the time of booking to secure your room with the hotel. If you won’t have the credit card at check in time because it is your workplace card or it is not in your name, you will need to complete a credit card authorisation form. From 30 days prior to arrival, hotels will charge this credit card for all your accommodation charges. Please ensure you understand the hotel’s payment policy (outlined below).

Check in is available from 2.00pm. Check out is prior to 11.00am.
A full breakfast at BARKERS restaurant, can be pre-booked during registration for $25/day.
Parking is available at the hotel subject to availability; cost is $65.00 per day. Other parking is available at Centro Cinema Centre Car Park on 306 Sussex Street or 521 Kent Street at $45.00 per 24 hours. Guests are allowed one entry and exit with this rate. Tickets must be purchased from the Hotel’s Reception Desk upon departure. (Rates quoted are subject to change).
The hotel provides complimentary Wi-Fi to all guests.
At 30 days prior to arrival, hotels will charge delegates credit cards for the entire accommodation balance. A surcharge applies for all credit card payments.
Cancellations or reductions made before 30 days prior to arrival, will not incur a cancellation fee. Cancellations made within 30 days prior to arrival, or no shows will incur a penalty fee equal to 100% of the total accommodation value.
